I'm not gonna lie, it's been hard lately. I've watched the scale tick upward in quarantine for long enough. There have even been a couple of times where my daughter asked if I was having another baby...oh KIDS. That innocence lol.
 
I've struggled with eating disorders and body dysmorphia for enough of my life to know that obsessing over that number on the scale does zero good for anyone.
 
I am all for body positivity and self love. That's the only example I want to set for my kids.
 
So I put the scale AWAY and have been focusing on NON scale victories for the last several weeks.
 
I am SO happy to report: this morning I ran a 5K in 30 minutes. 30 days ago, it took me 45 minutes.
 
That is progress to celebrate. Though out the 30 Day Breakaway program I just completed, my endurance and stamina has improved so much.
 
My legs and glutes are visibly stronger. I'm noticing more definition in other areas though out my body as well. I love how interval running torches calories and requires a ton of strength, but not for long periods of time. My program results are above and I am proud of that woman who smiled during some runs and cried during others but never quit. Let me tell ya, 30 days flies by either way.
 
I'm excited to continue incorporating guided runs into my fitness routine however I can while loving myself through fitness and nutrition and enjoying life without dieting or food regret.
