Unsustainable VS Enjoyable

I felt like people who were healthy and fit must be chronically unhappy, sadistic lunatics...😬⁣
𝘚π˜ͺ𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭π˜ͺ𝘯π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨: 𝘐 𝘸𝘒𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 ⁣

The difference here:⁣
⁣
𝗒𝗻 π˜π—΅π—² π—Ήπ—²π—³π˜ I was in my 20’s with no kids and could workout for hours each day after I was done teaching. I didn’t have a plan.⁣
I just kinda showed up and tried to figure things out. I was clueless as far as eating goes...way under eating and over training. Then acting like weekends didn’t count because “I deserved it”⁣
⁣
I’d gain and lose 5-10 pounds over and over. ⁣
And the crazy part was...all the effort I out in during the week was NOT resulting in the kind of progress I wanted to see.⁣

𝗒𝗻 π˜π—΅π—² π—Ώπ—Άπ—΄π—΅π˜, nearly TEN years and 2 babies in 19 months later...⁣
⁣
I had a simple plan to follow and I finallyyyyy was achieving the kind of results I wanted to see!⁣
⁣
As a mama I didn’t have hours to spend at the gym, but I dedicated 30 min a day to a SOLID sweat session.⁣
⁣
I finally understood how to drop the yo-yo diet habits and simply eat my way lean with healthy, yummy food.⁣
⁣
For the first time EVER, I wasn’t trying to figure it out alone and keep quiet about my dedication to my journey. I had a fit fam to encourage me every day and keep me motivated and supported even on the hard days. ⁣
⁣
Both ways I was putting in EFFORT, but I used to make it miserable and over complicated.⁣
⁣
NOW it’s simple and sustainable.⁣
Something I can teach my children which is so important with today’s insane expectations.⁣
⁣
